Valley Hike: Little O'Malley Peak, Rabbit Lakes, Willawaw Lakes, Prospect Heights, Powerline Pass, South Fork Campbell Creek are several options depending on your overall group age, fitness levels & desires. We discuss your interest and select a hike suitable for you based on the previous criteria. Alaska's trails can be Moderate to Difficult with graded, maintained gravel and dirt with rocks. OPtions include, out-and-back or loops and many hikes focus on exploring the sub-alpine to alpine ecology transitions. Mileage and elevation gain is dependent on pace, hike selected and can range anywhere from 200-1300ft to 1-10 miles. Some hiking experience and/or moderate physical fitness is recommended. This is a great family trip!

Climb a mountain: Flattop or Little O’Malley Peak: are popular "first mountains to climb" for fit, adventurous people of all ages. We hike up to a 1300 ft elevation gain with 3 miles distance round trip. These trails are difficult with steep inclines, switchbacks, maintained & unmaintained gravel trails & stairs. Both trips get you sweating & breathing the fresh clean alpine air. On Flattop: the upper 400 ft has scrambling & unmaintained rock field crossing. Hiking experience is recommended.
